You rode a wreck between the sea – crystal blue.

She was by your side, your baby boo.

Waters unsteady, rough, but you sailed through.

While at the shore waited loneliness, guilt among a few.

Who knew waited melancholy, anxiety, loathing – in the long queue,

All greeted with open arms, like the meet-up was overdue.

It wasn’t a pleasant surprise for you two,

But you distracted yourself with the breathtaking island view.

They crept in slowly as the night drew,

Wanted you and girl to part ways without leaving a clue.

It wasn’t any secret –

But you knew.

You got her to this island, which wasn’t new.

The ending was scripted by none other than you,

But you lie, and lie, twisting the truth to make it seem untrue.
