Can I count on you to be my guiding light?
Looks tough, with dramatic instances that bring me a fright
The comforting embrace, affectionate gaze: I adore this sight
It all seems grey: nothing black or white
The darkness surrounded me but you, my sunshine, made it bright
In this lonely little world, you are my mighty knight
Your presence shields me from the shadows of the night
With you, I feel brave, ready to take flight
Together we conquer, our love burning bright
